Hey, just wanna say thanks to Siau Wei, Sam Chen, Jamin, Diksha, Kerrine and everyone else who made the really good video for me and Alex! The video made me realize how much I was missing out this year..as a THANK YOU gift, me and Alex + Aly might make a video to send back to u guys!

As promised...UPDATES!!! YAY!
First off, thanks to the people who wished me good luck in my exams. Though it wasn't much help, I still managed to pull through. Psychology was the worse of all! So much writing!
And the weird thing was, it altogether worth about 188 marks?!Weird much?

Anyway, on the 21st of May, I went to Melbourne Uni to attend this Masterclass thing(Its a course for Year 10s[my year] to go attend a course in University to experience how it is like!)So yea...the topic I chose was 'Blood, Love and Hounds'(Veterinary Science)--was okay. the lecturer was pretty boring but did you know?Most of the blood donors they have in the labs are Greyhounds?thats cause they have long necks and yes they take blood out from their necks.and because the dogs are getting blood drawn out of them every 1 month, they literally go in the room, lie down on the table and wait for the vets to take out their blood! creepy!

The second course was 'Australians Living Longer-Will their retirement last?'(Actuarial Science) If you don't know what Actuarial science is, its all about Maths...The job of an actuaries(sp?) is to calculate how much a person needs for retirement etc.

Next, on the 24th of May(Saturday), Bell came back from the quarantine area!!!!Yay!

The Lokes are having their exam in 2 weeks. Thats all I know...

I think my life's getting really boring as the days go by....y?cos of exams....

BIG NEWS!!!
I think my sis has a bf!Named Jonathan I think...
If she had told me about it earlier I mite have kept my mouth shut, but since she didnt, the news is out and she hates me for it...but I dont care!
The past few days, she has been trying to get to school earlier than usual, which is bad in my case cos everyone from my class comes when the bell rings!!!
I heard that that Jonathan guy is UGLY!!!
Anyway,

we got this lecture today on wad course we should take for the VCE Examination(Year 12 exam similar to SPM)
The teacher said that we should get a part time job or else if it is all just good grades, you will not be able to find a job anywhere!!

I wanna sleep in late!
Exams are in 2 weeks n I havent started studying yet
Im starting to really hate my sister cos she's getting on my nerves

Today I visited Bell!!!(My dog) who is in quarantine!
It took like an hour plus to get there....I wish we could go on the weekend but the quarantine place only opens during weekdays from dunno wad time to 4pm...
and today i only got to go because there was an early dismissal..
Anyway, Bell was really happy to see us!

At 6pm, I had to go to school to attend the Prospective Night thing(Where new parents getta visit the school and see how it is like...)
I volunteered to cook!
So yea, I made like 3 batches of biscuits....it turned out not bad!
But some greedy lil kids took like 6 pieces at a go and went off....

I managed to get into the Melbourne Uni Masterclass thingyon the 21st of May!the bad thing is, it falls on the same day as exams!but on the bright side, in this school, u r allowed to change ur exams to different days!!! how cool is that?! and on top of that, I only get about 1 or 2 exams a day!!!If a person in the form gets 3 exams in a day its considered stressful and they r allowed to change their exam to a different day!!!!Coolios!By the way, the courses I took for the Masterclass were---'Australians are living longer — will their retirement savings last?'(Actuarial Science) and 'Blood, love and hounds' (something to do wif blood I guess)
Pretty cool eh?

Mornington Beach

Happy Good Friday!!!!
Today, my family got invited to a barbecue lunch at Mornington Beach! We met up with a few other families(all Asians) at McDonalds in the morning. Then we took bout an hour to get to the beach where we had to pay $4.30 to enter. From there we began a long walk through nature....meanwhile, PICTURES!

Unis, Holidays and School....

Well...first off, sorry for not updating in a really long time. Thats cos I was lazy XP
My dad came back from Malaysia on Sunday and bought back loadsa stuff! example a new watch! PIRATED DVDs!!!!and other food stuff....Apparently he visited Bell(my dog) which is currently staying in my grandparent's house. We think that my grandmother is starting to love Bell! thats cos she herself got a dog! Refer to pic below...

Next, the school told us that there ill be this program thing named Masterclass 2008 for Year 10s. The program is for Year 10s to experience life at the university!but not just any uni....Melbourne University! I'm interested to join....for more info Google up Masterclass Year10 and search for the one wif the melbourne uni website.

Next, Tomorrow is the last day of school! REJOICE!
Lastly, on Friday my family n I r goin to the beach for a barbecue...*Yay
Its at the Mornington Beach btw.....not looking forward for that though....

This morning I nearly coudn't get up in time for Mandarin class..

In class, I couldn't really focus but when i got down to the city I felt great!

Okay, here's what happened...

We met at Alicia's house at 1pm and from there me, Mei Jin, Lokes, Bongs, Selina and Alicia walked to the tram stop nearby and took a tram all the way to the city...On the tram, we saw Tyson who was going to 'shop' with friends in Victoria Gardens...

In the city, the first place we went to was 'SMIGGLES'!!!!!but I didn't buy anything....too

They were expensive!(bout 5.60 for ONE)!
I already bought fries and an ice cream from McD

Then we went back on the tram and travelled back to watch a festival(Water Festival)
There were loadsa rides there e.g.: the tomahawk thingy, feriswheels etc etc

Then there was this lucky draw thing where you pay $3 and get five chances to get a number matching the one on the board...Guess what? I WON A HUGE TEDDY!!!! Yay me!

Then we watched some water sports...

We also watched some dances on stage, then the Bongs bought Candy floss! just that here its called Fairy floss?and we ate those while watching some dances on stage...

Today was Free Dress Day!!!
It was weird to see everyone looking different from one another!
And I had half a bad day 2day...cos I was so forgetful that I locked my own locker key in my locker!!!!I feel dumb....

I got this note today saying that there will be having a morning tea session in school for all NEW students!!! JOY! I haven't had free food for a while now....

Its worse than ever! firstly, the teacher purposely came up with this game knowing i'll end up as a winner( cause we were playing pass the parcel....when it stops, you open a layer yada yada and the last statement was "Who is the eldest in the class?" obvious answer) I think she's encouraging me to pay more attention during class and talk lesss......

Bad Day

Today wasn't one of the best days of my life....
The first half of school was okay but that was when

Food Tech class. We had to do a brochure using Microsoft Publisher on Coeliac disease...it took me a whole period to do it when suddenly the bell rang! I tried saving my work into the pen drive (the laser/torchlight one) but it doesn't fit into the school computer!!!!So I turned the computer around to plug it in there. After fumbling around the computer suddenly blacked out!!!!!So all my hardwork of putting together a brochure is ruined!
When it was Maths time, I had lent Alicia my "New Moon" book to read and I told her repeatedly to take care of the spine of the book. Guess what?! She bent it! not only once! but 3 times!! I was sooo depressed....It may not be a big deal of bending the spine of a book but for me it is!!!!!!especially since it is one of my favourite books!!!!!!!
After school I wanted to listen to my iPod so I took it out and guess what?! one of the rubber thingies for the earphones were missing!

So there.....my bad day!

So....

Happy Valentine's Day!

To celebrate it, we went to a buffet place(Volcano Joe's) located at Burwood Highway! Nah I'm joking. We went there to celebrate the twins' ~~15th~~ birthday!

Well...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO VALERIE AND VANESSA!

So anyway, there was quite a variety of food served.....but unfortunately, THE FOOD THERE SUCKS!(though they look nice but trust me! THEY SUCK LIKE HELL!)

Today woke up at 10am and got ready....went to Janice's house cos they were having a surprise birthday party for Ashlee who just turned 15 on the 30th.....Janice's house was HUGE!!!!!! n I was the last to arrive......while waiting for Ashlee, we hung around and played her Wii! When she came, she was surprised....For lunch we had lasagna, KFC and salad....then after that Alice arrived and we had chocolate cake! Yum!

Then we arrived at Victoria Gardens shopping mall! JOY u may think...We're going shopping!!!!!!! but no...the malls here a pint size and we went to watch a movie...27 Dresses is the name of the show. We bought our tickets and I can't believe that Selina actually only had to pay for a child's ticket! Thats so unfair! Just because she's short and all! Hmph!

The show was Really good! Especially James Marsden! You know the one from Hairspray!
So after the show we went back using the tram.....
Then I watched SO YOu THINK YOu Can Dance Australia Version!!!!!at 7.30pm!!!!!

Today must one of the worse days of my LIFE!!!!!!!
My parents forced me to join a mandarin class which is organised outside the school but uses the school classes. So obviously I'm a beginner so I join a beginner's class....so guess who are my classmates???!!!!!

Children aged 7-8!!!!!!!!

And to make it even worse....the teacher made the whole class play this game where she turns around and shakes a shake drum thing(u noe...the ones we played when we were little)and made us pass around a soft toy doggy....when she stops shaking that childish thing then whoever is the last one holding the dog will have to answer her question! HOW EXCITING *insert great amount of sarcasticness here

Then went for luch at MCD....When we got out some old lady accidently scratched the paintwork of the car!She was so blur that she said she didn't do it when its obvious that her own car also kena scratched! Anyway, my mom took down her address and vice versa....
Then we went to the library next door....so we officially became members of the library! But the books there were really old!
After that we went around to look for my flute! So my father bought a flute for $695!!!!!expensive right?

3rd Day Of BHS

This will be the last of my fully detailed reports...I will only blog if something interesting pops out of the blue.....

Came too early to school....stood outside my locker like a dumbdumb while waiting for the bell to go......

First lesson was psychology.....ran around like mad and found out the psychology class was right at the end of another building...Entered the class and thank goodness I wasn't late! The teacher's name was Ms. Altunkaya I think.....She explained what we were going to learn this term and she made us do an icebreaker which didn't turn out really well.But at least she said that if we are like creating posters we might be able to listen to our iPods while doing it!Cool huh?....Anyway, next was geo but I skipped half of it to attend this flute thingy.....The teacher was nice but since I didn't have an instrument she recommended me all the places to buy it and the price and the brands....even Ebay! So after that I went to geo class....fortunately I didn't miss much cause the teacher was doing some weird quiz thing....then it was reccess....

After that I had food tech.....all we did was watch a video on it and answered a few questions...
Then it was tutorial program....(I didn't even have my book!)Luckily the teacher(who is the same as my geo one)played some "games" with us....so we sat in a circle and first played murderer(u noe....the winky winky one) then we had to hold hand andthe game is called "Train" by the way....A person had to stand in th middle and the "train" goes by passing on hand squeezes to another....the person in the middle has to catch people passing on the squeeze....There will be 2 stations...when the train passes a station....the person will have to say "Toooot toooot" Childish right?but oh well it was kinda fun...

Then it was lunch...one of the twins as well as another girl called Alice showed me around the school....Surprisingly the toilets had TOILET ROLLS!!!!not like WMS......Then it I had science...so we went to the science labs....the teacher was horribly boring! he couldn't even get the class to settle down!anyway he was this really old man who kept on going "Shh,Shh"but the class did keep quiet for a while but then it went back to normal! For science we learnt about electrons and how to draw them.....
Then it was Maths!the teacher gave us a paper containing all the sums we had to for the whole term!Then school ended! Hooray!

PS: CONGRATS SIAU WEI!!!!!HOPE YOU'LL BE HAPPY ALWAYS!!!!!! Wish I was there to celebrate in 1U with you guys!
Ah nevermind! When I come back end of this year, we must celebrate together!!!!!!

2nd Day of Balwyn High

It was quite okay i guess....
Couldn't wake up today though my mum was screaming a gazillion times...
Met a few new ppl...

Food tech was boring....had to sit at a table with another 3 asian guys which never talked unless among themselves....

Had to do this bacteria experiment...you know the ones with food...
Watched a video on how to handle food while teacher pass around the cookies...The teacher was weird...she kept on taking deep breaths which sounded like a person having asthma(no offense) but she was nice....

Then it was reccess...hung around the art center...then it was english..had to write an essay about yourself to the teacher...~~I simply wrote it~~

After that it was geo...the real teacher is having a holiday in America so there was this sub teacher which took over...it seemed as if the class knew him and so didn't pay much attention to him....Did You Know?Equinox means equal day and night wherelse solstice means sun standing still???
Then it was lunch....I tried to get my student ID but failed because the librarian said after the photo session(which was next week!)

Then it was the second period of geo...boringness....
then it was Health! I mean what the heck is that???!!! turns out it was physical education theory form.....well thats all

Here's the full detailed report of the first day of Balwyn High....

Woke up at 7 in the morn, got ready, then went to school. My sis and I were greeted by the sight of a few year 7s hanging around waiting for assembly to start. We wandered around a bit then we went to the office to ask for help. Surprisingly we were only supposed to assemble at the music theater at 9.40!!!!!!!!!!So we sat around waiting. The people in the school are sooooo different from WMS! You can see brightly coloured hair, various hairstyles, socks of different lengths, shirts untuck, hairs unclipped and large bags walking around. When it was time...my sis went to the music hall, I went to the theater.
The hall was huge and it was as if the whole WMS could fit inside! But where I'm gathering are only the Years9 & 10s.....I found out my class is 10H and there are about 12 classes each with about 25 students!!!! The teacher allowed a girl(Kim) to show me around...thats how I met the tallest pair of twins I've ever met! Valerie & Vannessa Bong. They were really friendly eventhough they couldn't pronounce my name correctly....The first teacher that came into the class was Ms. Jordan my supposingly English teacher and apparently 10H has exactly the same students as last year for the exception of me, another girl and a guy who shifted class. Then it was Maths....the teacher Mr. Daniells came in....he was kinda friendly I guess but then he started giving out sheets of Math!
It was supposed to be a revision for Year 9...The topic?

After lunch, it was P.E ~~my favourite~~ we were first asked to remove our shoes and to sit down in the sports area. We then had to choose from a few sports for each term. I chose

Okay.I'm gonna start from the very beginning.
We left the house at about 6.45pm and arrived at the restaurant(Restaurant Fu Long in Boxhill) at 7.00pm. We waited there for about15 minutes and then they came in. The first one I saw was Aunty Katryn dressed in blue followed by Joshua (same age as Mei Jin I think) who was wearing a Mr. Happy shirt eventhough he wasn't looking really happy.
See the photo? He has that on his shirt!!!!!!!
Next came in Uncle Sam and Ian(whom is the same age as me ~~almost...thats cause he's a few weeks younger than mua!!!!!!haha~~)
So as usual the only people talking were my mum and Aunty Katryn/my dad and Uncle Sam....
My sister was trying to sms ANDY LOW and I was....well I was trying to help her!~~but failed miserably~~
The two guys opposite us were reading......how boring.....no one to "break the ice"!(but I'm interested to know why this Matthew Riley if thats how you spell it

Then the food came!So all four of us "kids" ate quietly while the "groan-ups" babbled among themselves...When all of us finished eating...Somewhere around there I took out my iPod shuffle and listened to it. When Aunty Katryn saw this she started asking question like what are you listening to?(Good Charlotte-Misery)Do you like Kylie Minouge?(definitely no!)Shannon Noll?(YES!!!!!!!)Guy Sebastian?(huh?!)Then she started on making me listen to him as he was 1st Australian Idol yada yada.....(To me Guy Sebastian looks GAY and sounds GAY!)no offense to any of his fans though....Next question do you listen to Korean music?(Yes!)Rain?Se7en?(yea..a little of Se7en though)Then she left me to do whatever I was doing.

Next,they talked about politics which was boring so I'll skip that part...MOVING ON!
There was one topic which interest me ALOT!That was about driving!Yes you heard me DRIVING!!!!!!
Apparently one can start learning to drive as young as 16!FIrst you need to be under guidance(obviously) and there's this booklet which you must get both parents and driving instructor to sign everytime you drive!Once you have up to 120 hours of driving, you can take the test when you're 17 and BAM you can DRIVE!
I'm kinda waiting for that right now.......

So anyway, my father paid the bill and we were taken to the Forrest Chase mall where we went bowling!Since there was a package saying that after 10.30 we can bowl unlimitedly!So we went to the Pancake Parlour to drink!

While we were there, there was this massive chess set so itwas Joshua against Mei Jin/Uncle Sam who was strategically planning about 10 moves ahead!

In the end no pieces were eaten up and then we went BOWLING!

The guys were AMAZING!they striked a lot when I only striked once(so pitiful =( )
We stayed and played for 4GAMES! Then we finally manage to return home!

Saw birds "jumping on each other" outside my room yesterday....Wonder what it means????!!!

Last night was a blast!!!!!
Went to the heart of Melbourne by tram to watch the fireworks!
There wasn't any need to pay the tram fare as it was free thanks to the event organised in the city.
So the trip to the city altogether took about 45 minutes!
The night life in Melbourne was sooo cool! Though it was like a mini Malaysia. That's because you could see so many different types of people from all over the world!!
I couldn't stay to watch the midnight fireworks because my mum didn't wanna stay so I bet the midnight one would be way better than the one I saw which by the way was at 9.15pm until 9.25pm. Anyway it was really hot standing among the huge crowd present on that night. I think the temperature was about 35degrees!

Anyway today we went out for lunch and after that we went to a booksale! at a shop call "Dirt Cheap Books" tacky name eh?
All the books there are sold at $4.99 each(approx $5 x 3 = RM15) not a bad price plus if you spend $50 on the books you can get any 2 books free!
So in the end I bought 17 books and my sister surprisingly bought 15!that means we both got altogether 4 free books!

Lucky the cold chain has come in!but not for long :(
The coldest it will get is probably 25 degrees :(

Yesterday got up around 8a.m because the electrician came to fix the lights. My mum's friend Aunty Katryn came to pick up the air-con at the same time i got my first Christmas present of the year!
Ta-da!

Anyway the plum tree is getting numerous visitors. I guess it's because all the plums on it are getting ripe!

And in this week alone i've read 2books!

Oh yea and I just found out that If You Could See Me Now is being developed into a movie a musical one to be exact!!!!!(Due to be released in 2008)

Just got a letter from the school....I got into flute!eventhough it wasn't my first choice, I don't mind trying it out!Imagine me in a orchestra with thousands of students playing a single song!*shudders*

Days Are Loooooooong And Nights Are Short....

Woke up at 10am as usual...it rained so the temperature yesterday which was 37 degrees! dropped to 17degrees!(and since I'm sensitive to the cold i was FREEZING!
Father took family to D.F.O.!!!(Direct Factory Outlet)near some old airport. You should have seen it....IT WAS MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Walked around to look for clothes but turned out they were all tooooo expensive!the cheapest were like $5(x3+RM15!) but mostly bad quality ones....Ate lunch there.I ate this udon thingy which DID NOT taste Japanese AT ALL!!!!!!and that costs $9(x3=RM27 per bowl!!!!!!)Damn expensive!Anyway went to various shops for example: Quiksilver, JayJay, Crabtree and Evelyn, Billabong, Fila, Puma.......etc
Saw a polka dot Roxy handbag exactly like Jamin's for $10(x3+RM30)
After that went to "The Good Guys"(electrical shop where you can actually bargain!)
Father took F-O-R-E-V-E-R to choose a TomTom(Thing to help you find your way round Aussie)

and Mum bought a Milkshake maker!YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
Went back and made MILKSHAKE!!!!YUMMY!

Oh yea a few days ago, we went to Boxhill shopping centre and I found this:(Click to enlarge)

And a few days back my sis, dad and I were plucking plums!

And I just realised that bananas here....Yes bananas!were bigger than Malaysia's!

On the day before yesterday we bought second hand books!The book sale was supposed to start at 7.00pm but we went there at 5.30pm....to our surprise, there were about 35 people already lining up!!!!!!!!!!!Anyway I got all the books!YAay!In my year(Year10) we get to choose 4 subjects but I had to put 6 instead in case some of the subjects are full....They are

Yesterday my mum brought my sis and I to try on our new uniforms!We had to buy second hand because the original price was too expensive!PS:The bags are HUGE

At night my parents brought my sister and I to a music program thingy organized by the school....the program is about trying out instruments to see which of them you might want to play for next year(real good opportunities are rare!).So it began at 7pm and my sister and I got to try various instruments such as saxophone, drums, oboe, tuba, violin.....basically from 3 categories----percussion (drums), woodwind(flute,oboe,clarinet,), brass(tuba, French horn, trumpet, alto sax and bass sax) and last but not least string(violin,viola,double bass, cello). So anyways my top three choices were......

Alto Sax(the teacher was really friendly)
Flute
And............Violin

I would have taken guitar but next year's guitar classes were full. Oh well....there's always next year...right?And yea...my sister's choices were

Tuba
Alto sax
Violin

God knows why my sister chose tuba...........she claims to be convinced by this weird person who "interviewed" us.You see, after trying a particular instrument, the person in charge is suppose to stat weather the tryouts went well and my sister has "potential" at playing it.

Today was another boring day because the electricians came so I had to stay at home to "supervise" them!Had cherries!
